从上面显示的数据,可以了解到两点:
第一,CPU信息:
Intel至强E5520 CPU,有两个物理CPU,每一个物理CPU有4逻辑核。
第二,一个物理CPU的CACHE信息:
L1 cache:256 KB
L2 cache:1024 KB
L3 cache:8192 KB
由于现代CPU的L1 cache是逻辑核私有的,而E5520 CPU有4逻辑核,所以每个核只有64 KB的L1 cache,而且L1 cache分指令L1 cache和数据L1 cache,平分下来只有32 KB;目前,L2 cache也是片内私有,所以每个核只有256 KB;而对于L3 cache,一个物理核CPU的所有逻辑核共享,所以在每个逻辑核来看,L3 cache都为8192 KB。
在CentOS系统上,直接来看系统导出的接口数据来验证上面的说法,如下:
